How to view armenian web pages

Windows users
Step 1 Step 1. Downloading Armenian fonts. Click here to download Armenian fonts
Step 2 Step 2. Installing fonts. To install fonts, unzip file armfonts.zip (using WinZip) to a temporary directory (for example C:\Temp). Open Control Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel). Double-click Fonts icon, choose File -> Install New Font and select folder (e.g. C:\Temp) where fonts are located. Click Select All, then click OK. Now we have necessary Armenian fonts installed on system.
Step 3 Step 3. Configuring Browser.
Netscape (3.0 or higher)
Launch Netscape Program
Choose Edit -> Preferences
Choose Appearance tab->Fonts
Select User Defined from Encodings drop-down menu
Choose any variable Armenian font (for example, DALLAK TIME) as a Variable Width Font.
Choose any fixed Armenian font (for example, Courier AM) as a Fixed Width Font
Click OK to close the window
Note: Now, when viewing an Armenian web page, select View -> Character Set -> User Defined
Internet Explorer (3.0 or higher)
For IE 5.0 or higher verions - from Tools menu , choose Options, for IE 4.x version - from View menu choose Options (Internet Options).
Click Fonts button at the bottom of Options window.
From Language Script drop-down menu, choose User-Defined, Select any variable Armenian font (for example Dallak Time) as "Web page font" and any fixed Armenian font (for example Courier AM) as "Plain text font" then click OK.
Note: Now, when viewing an Armenian web page, select View -> Encoding -> User Defined.
Step 4 Step 4. Adding Armenian support to email clients.
Outlook Express. Open Outlook Express. From Tools menu, choose Options. Click Read tab, then click Fonts button at the bottom. From Font Settings list, select User Defined. If not already set, choose Dallak Time as Proportional font and ArmNet Courier as Fixed width font. Click OK.
Netscape Messenger. As soon as Netscape Messenger is tightly integrated with Netscape Navigator, you can read and send emails with Messenger when you set Navigator's Armenian support properly.

Overall Overall. Typing and fill forms in Armenian. Download Armenian keyboard driver. Run setup program and follow instructions on screen. Note that you might be asked to restart your computer.

MacOS users
Step 1 Step 1. Download this file. It contains ArmNet Times and ArmNet Courier TrueType fonts, and also 2 keyboard layouts: standard computer layout and traditional typewriter layout. Netscape will expand the Stuffit archive automatically for you.
Step 2 Step 2. Select all the files and drop them into System Folder.
Open Control Panel -> Keyboards.
Select US-ArmSCII-8 (computer layout) or US-ArmType-8 (typewriter layout). Use CapsLock key to switch between English and Armenian keyboards.
Note: The suggested fonts and keyboard layouts for Mac comply to ArmSCII-8 communication standard, thus they are intended only for Internet web browsing and mailing. Using this coding standard for other tasks in MacSystem, (f.ex. word processing or desktop publishing), may cause problems.
