SHUSHI THE CITY OF TRAGIC FATE. - YEREVAN. AMARAS, 1999

The illustrated book covers the history of the founding, the heroic defence, the economic and urban development of the principal city and cultural centre of Artsakh-Karabagh Shushi, as well as the great tragedy that took place in March, 1920. in the result of which the flourishing Armenian city was mined and destroyed.
The book is rich in factographic material and stands out advantageously in the line of similar literature first of all by its profound message, solid structure, hundreds of photographs that are published for the first time and a millitary/politlcal emphasis. The book is unique and singular in this aspect and possesses a tremendous scholarly, propaganda and cognitive impact.
